Jake Nodar began his career with horses fourteen years ago.  He began volunteering at Days End Farm Horse Rescue at the age of 17, and was quickly hired on as farm manager.  While working at the rescue, Jake oversaw the care of 45-60 abused and neglected horses.  Once rehabbed the horses would be adopted out to approved homes.  During this time he was also certified in stable management.  It became quite clear that the training aspect was the direction Jake wanted to pursue.

After more than a year managing the horse rescue, Jake was accepted into the John Lyons certification program in Parachute, Colorado. He moved out west with his two horses and began a very intensive program that covered everything from roundpen basics, to starting horses under saddle, to much more advanced under saddle training. After completion of the school, he moved back to Maryland and began his career as a horse trainer.

Several years later in 2003, Jake decided to further his education by spending the year riding with Olympic Event rider Stephen Bradley. The farm was located in Middleburg Virginia and was sublet to numerous trainers of various disciplines. Being able to ride among such diverse talent on horses of all ages and skill levels made for an incredible learning experience. Jake has since combined the classic english training and riding style with natural horsemanship techniques and has developed his own style of training that produces great results for all disciplines, horses, and riders.

Jake has started over two hundred young horses. Over the years he has competed in eventing, dressage, hunters, jumpers, in hand breed shows, western pleasure, and barrel racing.
